Aeroplan Members can earn 1 Aeroplan point for every dollar spent (excluding taxes, fees and surcharges, where applicable) on completed Avis and Budget car rentals. Simply enter your Aeroplan Number when completing your car rental reservation through aircanada.com. Aeroplan points will only be awarded for completed car rentals booked through aircanada.com when using a dedicated aircanada.com AWD (Avis Worldwide Discount) and BCD (Budget Customer Discount) number. points for bookings may not be earned on rentals with an affiliated, membership or corporate discount number. The above excludes Aeroplan points awarded by Avis, where renter can earn 500 Aeroplan points at participating airport locations in Canada, the U.S. and International, and 250 Aeroplan points at participating off-airport locations in Canada and the U.S.

Rentals with Avis

• When you rent from Avis, you can earn 500 Aeroplan points on qualifying rentals at participating airport locations in Canada, the U.S. or International and 250 Aeroplan points on qualifying rentals at an off-airport location in Canada, or the U.S.
• A qualifying Avis rental is defined as one vehicle rental per day, per city, for all consecutive days a vehicle is rented - whether or not you renew the rental during those consecutive days. points may not be earned on free, tour or on certain travel industry & AWD rates and may only be earned in one frequent flyer program per rental.
• An advance reservation is required.
• A Frequent Travel Program Fee of $0.75 CDN per day, up to $5.25 CDN per transaction will apply and will be assessed in connection with points earned pursuant to a reservation. The amount assessed is collected by Avis to offset a portion of Avis' annual cost of participation in this frequent flyer program.
• Aeroplan Members must provide their Aeroplan Number when making an Avis reservation and present their Aeroplan Card at the time of rental.
• Aeroplan points cannot be earned on Budget rentals; but may only be earned for completed car bookings through aircanada.com.

• The savings of up to 25% applies to Avis and Budget base rates and is applicable only to the time and pointage charges of the rental.
• Offer does not apply to car group X.
• All taxes, fees (including but not limited Air Conditioning Excise Recovery Fee, Concession Recovery Fee, Vehicle License Recovery Fee, Energy Recovery Fee, Tire Management Fee, and Frequent Travel Program Fee) and surcharges (including but not limited to Customer Facility Charge and Environmental Fee Recovery Charge) are extra.
• Offer is available for U.S. and Canadian residents only for rentals at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada.

• Weekly rates require a minimum five day rental period.

• Renter must meet Avis/Budget age, driver and credit requirements. Minimum age may vary by location. An additional daily surcharge may apply for renters under 25 years old.

• Exclusive GPS base rate of $7.99 per day in Canada and the U.S., $39.95 base rate per week for rentals of 5 to 7 days. Maximum base rate is $75.00 regardless of the car rental length.
• All taxes, fees (including but not limited to Air Conditioning Excise Recovery Fee, Concession Recovery Fee, Vehicle License Recovery Fee, Energy Recovery Fee, Tire Management Fee, and Frequent Travel Program Fee) and surcharges (including but not limited to Customer Facility Charge and Environmental Fee Recovery Charge) are extra.
• Available at participating Airport locations in Canada and in the U.S. Subject to availability.
• Reliability of directions subject to timing of software implementation as well as that of which has been provided by the maker of the installed maps.
• Renter acknowledges that Garmin GPS may be limited by atmospheric or topographical conditions. Renter further acknowledges that GPS may be rendered inoperative if it is tampered with or destroyed and or damaged in an accident or if the satellite systems are obstructed and inoperative.
• Customer is responsible for all costs in the event of lost, stolen or damaged GPS unit and all of its components. Renter agrees to release and hold Avis/Budget harmless for any GPS failures.
